Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice's Volunteer Training Program consists of 11 modules that provides volunteers with background information about Hospice Palliative Care, as well as information about the roles and responsibilities of the volunteer, body mechanics, spiritual issues, ethical issues of palliative care and many more.

Our Volunteer Program is recognized by the Hospice Association of Ontario (HAO) and, upon completion of all 11 modules (33 hours), volunteers receive a graduation certificate recognizing their achievement.

All individuals wishing to volunteer in the community or in the Hospice itself must complete this program.
