Residential Hospice

In addition to our other services, the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice Centre for Palliative Care operates a 10-bed Residential Program.

Our Residential Program is for people who have difficulty coping at home; who do not have caregiver support or for those who choose not to live out their final weeks and days at home.

The Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice provides whole person care - body, mind and spirit - with a multi-disiciplinary team who accompany the client and client's family through the course of their journey. Providing support for the individual as well as their family and friends is a priority in our house.

Inquiries about the hospice our welcome. A meeting to answer questions and assess suitability for hospice can be arranged at the hospice, at a private residence or in a hospital room.

There is no charge for any of the programs at the Dr. Bob Kemp Centre for Hospice Palliative Care. However, donations are encouraged and welcomed.

Making the Call

Anyone can make initial contact with the Hospice - the patient, the family, health care professionals, clergy or friends.
