Memory Path

When a loved one passes away in our house often families wish to leave us a lasting tribute in their honour. Some families have offered a favourite chair, artwork or piece of furniture. While we are touched by these kindhearted offers, we simply do not have space in our house to accomodate these kinds of donations.

It is essential that our building and grounds have wide, open spaces for residents and visitors to move around in — whether they are walking, using a wheelchair or in their beds.

We have alternative ways to create a lasting tribute to your loved one at our hospice while providing much-needed financial support.

Recently, a local firm has generously donated stones and labour to create a memorial pathway on the hospice grounds. As many of you are aware, the peaceful treed area behind our building is gradually being landscaped. Each donated stone in our permanent Memory Walk can bear an engraved plaque. Stones are $1,000 each.
